Client Mom 1 ½ years after completing GETTING ATTACHED … 4 week session:
…just wanted to touch base and tell you I haven't responded because I've been living with a VERY happy and VERY loving little girl for the past month. Just like last winter when she was processing so much and having difficulty, her grief seemed to end all at once. And she seems much more secure and attached than before she started having trouble. Lots of eye contact, lots of hugs, lots of "I love yous," etc etc. The one time I tried to bring up her anger with her, it was already past, and she gave me a very confused look and was adamant that she wasn't at all mad. So, I will save your suggestions for the next time she is having difficulty.
